Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 (revised)

This document is a general template, not legal advice. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on this with real customers, have it reviewed by a lawyer licensed in your state, and confirm it matches what the product actually does before publishing.

1. Who This Applies To

Anserion is operated by Anserion LLC ("Anserion," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy covers two groups: business owners who sign up for Anserion to answer their phones, and callers who dial a business using Anserion. If you're a caller with a privacy question about a specific call, please contact that business directly — they control their own phone number and configuration.

2. Information We Collect

Call recordingFull audio recording of the call, made available to the business owner in their dashboard
Call transcriptSpeech-to-text transcript of the conversation, stored to power the AI conversation and shown to the business owner in their dashboard

3. How We Use Information

4. AI Processing

Call transcripts are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate the receptionist's responses in real time. Transcripts are also stored in our database so the business owner can review past calls. We do not use call data to train AI models.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with the following providers as necessary to operate the Service:

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

Call logs, transcripts, and appointment data are retained for as long as the associated business account remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and record-keeping purposes. You can request deletion as described below.

7. Your Rights

Business owners can access and update their business information directly in the dashboard. To request deletion of your account or data, or to make a data access/portability request, email hello@anserion.com. Callers who want a specific call record removed should contact the business they called; we can also assist directly at the same email.

Callers can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message — this is honored on all future messages from that business through Anserion. Reply START to resume.

8. Security

Data is stored with role-based access controls (row-level security) so that each business can only access its own data. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our own servers.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

11. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy can be sent to hello@anserion.com.
