Last updated: July 2026

This document is a general template, not legal advice. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on this with real customers, have it reviewed by a lawyer licensed in your state.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Anserion ("the Service") is operated by Anserion LLC ("Anserion," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, signing up for a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. Description of Service

Anserion provides an AI-powered phone receptionist that answers calls on behalf of your business, handles common questions, books appointments, and sends text follow-ups. The Service includes a provisioned phone number, a web dashboard, and related tools.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Some plans include a free trial period; unless canceled before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged. You may cancel or update your payment method at any time from your dashboard's billing portal. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate any law; harass, defraud, or deceive callers; send unsolicited communications; or interfere with the Service's operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Call Recording & Consent

Anserion plays an automated disclosure at the start of each call stating that the call may be recorded and transcribed by AI. Depending on where your business and your callers are located, you may have additional legal obligations regarding call recording consent (for example, states that require all parties to consent to recording). You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable recording and privacy laws in the jurisdictions where you operate and where your callers are located.

7. AI-Generated Responses

The Service uses an AI language model to answer caller questions based on information you provide (hours, services, FAQs). The AI may occasionally misunderstand a caller or provide an imperfect response. Anserion is not responsible for business outcomes, missed appointments, or miscommunications resulting from AI-generated responses. You should review your configured business information for accuracy.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including Twilio (telephony), Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage and authentication), and Anthropic (AI processing). Your use of the Service is also subject to the availability and acceptable use policies of these providers.

9. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Intellectual Property

Anserion and its logos, software, and branding are the property of Anserion LLC. You retain ownership of the business information and content you provide.

11. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anserion is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost revenue or missed business opportunities arising from use of the Service.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Anserion harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms, including claims related to call recording consent obligations described in Section 6.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Contact
